  • Increases Emerald Damage granted by mutations by 75% per level.
  • The very first level when you unlock gives you a double bonus, so you start with 150%
  • Mutation damage adds up into one big bonus, so adding this 75% to an existing bonus of 500% would total 575%.
  • The genes Mutation Infusion multiply this coloured damage by 10% per gene, to a maximum of 110%.
  • The Gene Lab's Mutation Specialization further add to this multiplication by 5% per level, with no maximum,
  • Increases the time to kill the boss by 10% per level.
  • Boss time starts at 30 seconds, so each level of mutation adds 3 seconds.

Commentary

This is another mutation that will change your game - or at least let you go a bit further or let the game play itself longer once you have permanent Shadow Swarm going. The initial boss time of 30 seconds is really crippling. This mutation lets you expand that timer by several minutes for very cheap, so it is well worth having. Note that this mutation has no effect on the timers used in the Land of Reptiles mini game. For that matter, there are no mutations that impact Land of Reptiles.
