Skins for the AppX and Baby AppX crabs have a long history. Originally just for special occasions, over the years almost every event brought with it a new skin.

Within the game, tapping on the picture of either crab will bring up the skin window, where you have the option to choose a skin, turn on Random mode, and purchase any missing skins.
