  • Increases Garnet Damage granted by mutations by 90% per level.
  • The very first level when you unlock gives you a double bonus, so you start with 180%
  • Mutation damage adds up into one big bonus, so adding this 90% to an existing bonus of 500% would total 590%.
  • The genes Mutation Infusion multiply this coloured damage by 10% per gene, to a maximum of 110%.
  • The Gene Lab's Mutation Specialization further add to this multiplication by 5% per level, with no maximum,
  • Decreases the cooldown of ability Golden Leech by 5% per level.
  • The default cooldown is 60 minutes (3600 seconds)
  • When maxed out, you would have 990% added mutation damage for Garnet crabs and queens (multiplied by bonuses described above), and your Golden Leech cooldown would be cut in half.

Commentary

Golden Leech has the longest cooldown of all of your abilities at 60 minutes. It is also perhaps the best of the abilities as it gives you an huge quantity of gold for free - so being able to activate it every 30 minutes is a very good thing. Golden Leech is the only ability that does not (yet) have a cousin mutation that extends the duration. You could argue Colossal Crab doesn't have one either, but it's also not an ability that has a duration.
