Overview

• If you do not use the School to track your cast of crabs, there no reason to read this article.
• This is in reference to Update 3.80 which dropped in early April 2025
• Read that article for the game changes. This is just some notes about what you might need to do here.

King Crab Reset

• I needed to redo the King Crab worksheet which made it necessary to wipe your data there.
• Sorry.
• You will need to go to the King Crab worksheet and fill it out again. There is also some additional information to enter.
• Gone is the input box for "Main Swarm %" and replaced with boxes to enter your Full Sets, Common, Rare, and Legendary.
• After you ascend to Gene Tree Tier 2, an additional box will be present to enter the # of Shells Collected.
• The Main Swarm % is now calculated based on your other information on the sheet, shown in green for validation.
• The calculated Main Swarm % should match the number shown in your Land of Reptiles.

Gene Tree Changes - Not Ascended Yet

• If you have NOT Ascended your tree, be aware that several genes have changed -- see the Ascension article linked above.
• In game you will have a free Reset option on your tree if you want to change your gene choices after the change.
• Make sure your Genes here on the school match your new choices.

Gene Tree - Ascending

• As you Ascend, your tree will clear. Accordingly here, if you change your Ascenstion Tier on the Gene Tree Worksheet, it will auto-reset your tree.
• The final Ascension to Gene Ascension Tier 10 will not reset your tree -- when you get there you are done.
• If you change your Tier from the main Edit page rather than the worksheet, the reset will not happen. This is because the main Edit page is meant for raw, quick input of data rather than interactivity like the worksheets.

Things to Do

• Set your Gene Ascension Tier on the Worksheet or the Main Edit page, if you have Ascended.
• Make sure your Implanted Genes match your game if you made any changes.
• Go to the King Crab worksheet and re-input your data.

Future

Nobody has progressed beyond Tier 3 of Ascension (that we know of) so we are not sure what the higher buffs actually "do" so there will likely be more changes to worksheets as we learn more. Hopefully nothing that will require wiping data again.

If YOU are close to Ascending to Tier 4 or beyond, I would like to get some information from you before you Ascend, and immediately after.
